Alessio Olivieri is an Assistant Professor of Music History\u00a0 at the Glenn Korff School of Music, University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and a Research Associate at the Center for Iberian and Latin American Music (CILAM), university of California – Riverside.\u00a0 His \u00a0research focuses on realism and verismo in the Spanish musical theater at the crossroads of the 19th and 20th centuries.\u00a0<\/p>

Alessio Olivieri is an awards-winner Italian classical guitarist. He has performed extensively as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles in Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and The United States.<\/p>

Alessio Olivieri is an Assistant Professor of Music History  at the Glenn Korff School of Music, University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where he teaches an array of classes  Western Art Music and Latin American Music.
Previously he served as Classical Guitar Instructor at Nebraska Wesleyan University and PennWest Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, teaching applied instrumental lessons and ensemble classes.<\/p>\n
